❝ Helionne de Courcelle neé Gevair is the new acknowledged daughter of Baroness Iadrianne Cadieux neé Moneaux, a semi-retired Inquisitor, and Ser Drallont Cadieux, the knight who she wed posthumously. Helionne was largely unaware of her storied parentage, having grown up in a Brume orphanage. At age eleven she was brought into House Clarant by its lord, Ser Verreux Clarant, as one of its many Wards.Verreux sponsored Lionne's entrance into the Temple Knights, and she became a squire at thirteen summers. She was briefly wed at 19 summers to another of the wards, Ser Ardenant Gevair. The two were wed on special exception as Ardenant was being stationed far into the Highlands and thus their marriage would not interfere with either his duties nor her training.

Their wedding was the last time the two saw one another. The Calamity claimed his life not long after, and she continued her training eventually taking her oaths to become a fully fledged knight at twenty. Two years after her knighting, she achieved her current rank of Knight Captain after her unit's Captain was killed while afield.During the end of the Dragonsong War, Helionne was injured when a wyvern snatched her from the Steps of Faith and dropped her back onto it. It took a considerable amount of time to heal the damage to her back, but thanks to the talents of skilled chirurgeons under the employ of House Clarant she has regained full function. Some rumor this as a clear sign of her being blessed by the Fury Herself, as similar injuries have resulted in the end of a many a knights career.

Helionne has returned to her position as a Knight Captain, and more recently has wed a longtime friend with whom she reconnected, Ivaurault de Courcelle.

A former Brumeling brought into the house of Lord Verreux Clarant as one of many wards, the second youngest of what was six, now numbering five. She was considered a fighty, headstrong child and earned the nickname 'hellion', though only her enemies use that word to describe her these days.+ ❝   Accomplished Knight.
A Knight Captain in the Temple Knights, Helionne was knighted in her early twenties, and gained her rank by a field promotion two years later. Perhaps you've heard of Captain Gevair before?+ ❝   Difficult Recovery.
She briefly spent half a year in Gridania healing from a greivous injury obtained during the final conflict of the Dragonsong War. It's entirely possible that you met or ran into her there in passing, and happened to remember her face.
